I made this app to test some ideas for a new pitch-shifting algorithm and it worked well. It is not a great vocoder but it is fine. It is not real-time enough to be a real problem but it is fun enough to be a good time.
There are some ideas for a new pitch-shifting algorithm that I am trying to implement.
It works with headphones or speakers. There is a delay because of the current Java API.
The reason is the feedback. It is hard to give a precise value for the feedback and it is hard to do it in a real-time way.
